Meet the Team: Charlotte
Charlotte Hind our Sales Administrator at REACT Technologies is celebrating her one-year anniversary of joining our team! And to celebrate this fantastic milestone, we’ve asked Charlotte a few probing questions about her life at the office, and what she likes to do for fun.
What is your job at REACT Technologies?
My job title is Sales Administrator, but I’m also a Customer Service Advisor and ISO 9001 2015 Internal Auditor.
What is a typical day in the office like for you?
I’m always busy, but it keeps my job exciting. My job involves a little bit of everything, so I manage our social media communication on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook, raise orders for our React System trigger boards and fobs and build relationships with new and existing customers.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I absolutely love speaking to people who want to know more about the products and services we provide, I really appreciate the opportunity to educate people about how we can improve accessibility for all. I also enjoy working with people who use our technology in their day-to-day life.
What are you working on today?
I’ve had a day away from the office today, so I’ve caught up with all my messages, caught up with my contacts, answered lots of emails and spoken to clients old and new.
Which project are you most looking forward to starting at React?
I’m looking forward to launching a new piece of hardware and devices that we’re working on.
How many cups of tea have you drank today?
I’ve had one cup of tea, a bottle of water and I’m having a coffee while I write this.
What is your favourite song?
‘On Top of the World’ by The Carpenters, it’s a classic.
How would your colleagues describe you?
I would hope they think I’m approachable, friendly, bubbly and a good colleague.
What is your favourite book?
I really enjoyed Richard Adam’s ‘Watership Down’ but I still love all the Enid Blyton books from my childhood.
What is your ultimate dream?
To win the lottery and retire early!
What was the last app you downloaded?
A fitness app that connects my new BodyFit watch with my iPhone.
If you could only eat one thing for a month, what would it be?
Cadbury’s Fruit and Nut chocolate bars – the large ones!
What is your favourite word?
What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done in life?
Letting my children go off to live their own lives was a challenge, but after that I also had to accept and get over two TIA mini strokes.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I would relearn English Literature from my school days and learn to use more technology to communicate better.
